Processed foods are formulated to be irresistible. They’re meant to have you continue eating even when you are full. Key ingredients are formulated to make you addicted.
Big Food manufacturers guard their recipes as trade secrets, so academic scientists can’t study them. In other words you don’t know what you are ingesting. This alone is a reason not to part take in this experiment.
Processed food and fast foods are brought to us by the same folks that brought us and hooked us on cigarettes. Phillip Morris at one point owned Kraft, General Foods, Nestle, Nabisco and even though they sold off their food division, they still control 94% of the voting rights of the Big Food Corporations.
And like with cigarettes, they don’t care about your health, they care about their profits. Its BIG MONEY to keep you Fat and to make you sick. Its a perfect storm.
They even bought the “diet’ food companies, Weight Watchers, Jenny Craig, etc. Still all chemicals and fake food.
All these chemicals have gotten us hooked.
What food am I talking about? Its called the the SAD diet (Standard American Diet) Fake food, processed foods, fast foods, processed frozen foods, and restaurant food that isn’t farm to table. (It comes in little baggies, gets zapped and arranged on your plate.)
And its making us sick, as a nation. How sad it that?
Have they started making you feel sick yet? When is the last time you looked in the mirror and asked “How do you feel this morning?” I believe than many of us are walking around feeling lousy but we are so busy, we don’t stop long enough for it to register and pay attention. Besides, we are supposed to get sick and pop pills as we get older, right? (Wrong, it doesn’t have to be that way.)
These processed foods do not promote health in your body. You need real food. Want to know why?

Some believe that taking care of one’s health with a whole food diet is too expensive.

I understand how awful it is to have symptoms and for your MD to keep prescribing pills for your ills, and for the pills to not be taking care of the symptom. (or to be causing new side effects)
I understand what it’s like to have pain and that others don’t always understand.
I understand what its been like to have fatigue when you wake up in the morning. I know how it feels to not have the energy to do all the things you want to do.

The focus is on health and as balance is restored the body starts to drop the excess weight without dieting. It also begins to heal the body from the inside out.
