Express your love for YOU this Valentines Day.

No one special in your life for Valentines? Well pamper and show yourself love. You are special to you and you can give yourself what you want and need.
Start spoiling yourself today. Lets make Valentines Day a 3 day event to remember how wonderful you can treat yourself.
Treat yourself as you would treat a lover with all the little things you do.
Woo yourself
On your date enjoy your time to BE with yourself not to be “by yourself”.
Enjoy being with yourself.
Since its Valentines, buy yourself flowers. Whatever YOUR favorites are.
Shop for and buy yourself a piece of jewelry that you will always remember when you wear it as your celebration of you.
Get yourself some delightful non toxic fragrance. My favorite is a blackberry scent by Michelle Pfieffer from her line Henry Rose. Its called Blond Barry. People run after me when I am out and about to ask me about my fragrance. Its as special as I am.
Write yourself a love letter…. Write it on special paper. Mail it to yourself and then save it when it arrives in a keepsake box.
Buy special organic sustainable chocolates (with no soy lechithin)
Make a reservation in a top restaurant and enjoy your evening out.
Don’t want to go out to eat alone?
Call an excellent restaurant in the area and order a fabulous meal to go, take it home, light candles, put on soft love music and enjoy it, every single morsel.
After dinner, hug yourself and take a spin around the floor to the music.
Then set up candles in the bathroom and take a relaxing bubble bath. I just found fabulous no toxin bubble bath from Carina…..and check out Whole Foods Sprouts, Natural Grocer, Or another holistic grocer to see if they carry it. I have also used EOx in a pinch, its pretty clean and its lavender…..which is a favorite of mine. Add Epsom salts, relax and enjoy. Add a little Argon oil for extra pampering.
Key points to “date yourself”:Remember this is not a sad moment. This is a celebration of love for your best girl…..you.
Plan an activity: Choose something you genuinely enjoy, like a movie, a hike, reading at a bookstore, or a cooking class.
Be mindful: Pay attention to your thoughts and feelings during the activity.
Try something new: Use this time to explore new interests or hobbies.
Reflect on yourself: Consider what you appreciate about yourself and what you want to work on.
Some ideas for “dating yourself”:
Pick an activity that you have always wanted to do. Buy concert ticket, go to the Ballet, go to a museum, fly to another city, go out to dinner, and then fly home again or better yet, stay overnight in a boutique hotel. Get excited about it and plan to enjoy every single second of your special date.
Relaxing activities: Spa day, reading a book in a cozy spot, taking a warm bath
Outdoor activities: Picnic in the park, walking in nature, going for a bike ride
Cultural outings: Visiting a museum, attending a concert, exploring a new art gallery
Self-improvement activities: Taking a cooking class, learning a new skill, attending a workshop
Treat yourself: Indulge in a nice meal at your favorite restaurant, buying a new book, going shopping

Why “date yourself?”:

Boost self-esteem: Spending quality time alone can help you appreciate your own company and value your individuality.
Self-discovery: It’s an opportunity to explore your interests and passions without external pressure.

Stress relief: Taking time for yourself can be a great way to de-stress and recharge.
The whole idea is to treat yourself so well, when you do meet someone that you think might be special to add into your life you won’t be needy and your WILL NOT settle. Why would you? You are perfectly capable of showing yourself the way you deserve to be treated.
And this way, you show the world how you WANT TO BE LOVED. Remember the energy we put out is the energy that comes back to us.
You are special….and don’t you ever forget that. Let the universe know how very special you are. It will be rewarded….
