“Golden Broccoli Awards for Excellence in Health” by Cheryl M Health Muse. Second edition.

Award (1)

This newsletter is to introduce you to products, restaurants, and places to buy healthy food.  Since I eat around 18 food sensitivities, and my husband swears I am a toxic alarm for any toxin in a 50-mile radius, finding places and products that I can use deserves a big call-out for everyone. These are clean, clean, clean or I couldn’t use them.  They are so worthy of your attention and will get you one step closer to removing items that contribute to your toxic load.

I would love to hear from you what areas you want to “clean up” and I will honor products that I use and endorse so that everyone can benefit from clean award worthy products in those areas.

These are not “paid” endorsements. These are products that have earned my respect and that I think will earn yours.

All of the winners will be on my website for future reference.

This weeks award winners are:

Suzy Cohen’s Script Essentials

Suzy Cohen, America’s Pharmacist has been a licensed pharmacist for 25 years and is a functional medicine practitioner for the last 15.

Suzy devotes time educating people about the benefits of natural vitamins, herbs and minerals. In addition to writing a syndicated health column, “Dear Pharmacist,” which circulates to 20 million readers each week, Suzy Cohen is the author of many different books on natural health.

Suzy uses premium ingredients. Her “Script” formulas are patent-pending due to their unique blends.

I personally use her Magnesium, Thyroid Script, Glucose Script, Ester C, Vitamin B, Catalase (a wonderful antioxidant for skin, nails and hair.  It is an enzyme to support the liver,  and neutralizes hydrogen peroxide turning it into water and oxigen), Vitamin D3, and DHA high premium fish oil.

Script supplements have made a marked improvement in my numbers- especially my thyroid numbers.

I am proud to award my “Golden Broccoli Award for Excellence in Health” to Suzy Cohen for supplements that are making a huge difference in my personal recovery.

Suzy’s supplements come in glass bottles when it’s important. If you read my book you will understand why I think that is critical to stay away from plastic that could leak chemicals into your body.

I also strongly recommend Suzy’s book Drug Muggers available on Amazon.

Do you know which of your pills is mugging needed minerals from your body and what to do about it?

You should also sign up to receive Suzy’s newsletters which are packed with cutting edge information.

Suzy has solved several of my health mysteries and being informed has allowed me to be a full partner with my functional MD in my own health care solutions.

Cappello makes some pretty amazing products for people who don’t eat gluten.

The first things I found and fell in love with are their almond flour fetticini and lasagna noodles.  I was purchasing them directly from the company in Colorado, but Whole foods now has them in their frozen foods section. (I helped campaign for Whole Foods to carry them).  My hubby and I love both shapes.  They cook quickly and make Italian nights fun again, around my sensitivities.

We just made lasagna using Cappello’s lasagna noodles and Kite Hill almond ricotta, and 2 layers of thin zucchini noodles in between.  I also added spinach for extra goodness and nutrients.  I use Raos marinara.  Yummy and clean.

Cappello pasta is available at Whole Foods and many other healthy grocers.  My local health food store carries their pasta.

They also now have a gluten free pizza crust that you can buy directly from the company in Colorado.  I live in hope that eventually these will also be at Whole Foods or some place local.  They have traditional pizzas and just crusts. They are all gluten free.  Since I am very dairy sensitive, I buy the naked.  We have pizza nights probably once a month, and these crusts are yummy.  Try them- you won’t be disappointed.  It was a thrill to be able to have pizza again.  Well worth your purchase and the shipping.  Last pizza night was this crust with small scoops of butternut squash, carmelized onions, sautéed mushrooms and sautéed spinach.  My hubby got dairy cheese, I use little scoops of Kite Hill almond ricotta. Double Yum.

I bought a steel pizza plate to cook these on in my oven.  We heat it at 450 for 45 minutes before we slide the pizza on.  The crust gets crunchy and the result is amazing.

I am proud to award Cappello’s with my “Golden Broccoli Award for Excellence in Health”.
