Description
Welcome to my class on how to get the biggest bang for your organic bucks.
In this class I want to get you excited to eat real whole foods.
When I am speaking to the public, or posting on social media, I run into three objections.
- The first is that there is no benefit to purchasing organic foods.
In this class I help you to identify just how many benefits there ARE to buying organic. and eating food without the chemicals and toxins that are being sprayed on your fruits and vegetables and that your meat animals eat. Your body doesn’t need the toxins sprayed on conventional crops, nor does it need the toxins in processed and fast foods.
- The second objection is that people tell me they can not afford ORGANIC food.
In this class, I help you explore how to save money on quality food and what all the benefits of quality food are to your future health. Don’t live to eat, eat to live. Save by discovering how to fit organic into your budget and how to get every morsel of health out of your food. In the long run, you will save on health care expenses, you will save because you will be more productive and lose less time from sick days, you will feel great and have more energy to accomplish all your dreams.
- The third objection is that you don’t have time to prepare food and cook.
I want to reveal to you just how important it is that you do cook, how to prepare food quickly like a short order cook, and why its important to control what you put into your mouth.
My intent is to give you an entirely new perspective on the food that you are eating and why its so important to eat for your health.
Food can make you well, or food can make you sick as hell.
So what things do I share in my course?
- I address why organic farming is so important to our own health, the health of our communities, the health of our dirt to grow our food, the health of our water ways (ground water, streams, rivers, oceans) all of which is costing us indirectly in additional medical expenses, lost work time, and taxes to keep our healthcare system slightly afloat and to keep our environment livable.
- I share all the amazing phytochemicals that are in whole organic foods, what gifts they offer to our bodies, why its important to buy as local as possible, and the amazing benefits of eating real whole foods of all the colors of the rainbow. I talk about eating the rainbow all the time, but I give you a snapshot of what many of the phytonutrients are by color and whether they help you with your heart, or to ward off cancer, or give you brain power. They all help you rebuild cells, which your body is doing every moment of every day.
- You will identify where to buy quality food and how to get the best price. How to save money buying real whole foods. And there are tons of ways to do this.
- I share just how many toxins are on each vegetable and fruit, whether they are just toxic, or a endocrine disrupter, or a neurotoxin, or are killing our bees and our butterflies. (No pollinators no food) Even things on the Clean 15 are disgustingly dirty, it will open your eyes.
- I share how to know what is in season in your local, which is when the item is at its most advantageous price. And I share how to take advantage of these great prices and store food for your future eating.
- You will attain expertise on how to pick the best of the best. What to look for when choosing a vegetable or a fruit, when to NOT buy it.
- Do you know which plants continue to grow once they have been harvested? Are they picked before they are ripe, and then do they continue to ripen off the tree or out of the earth? Or are they picked before their time and then gassed to appear as if they ripened? All this makes a difference in the minerals and vitamins in the plant, the taste of the plant, and the phytonutrients that are available to your body.
- I will divulge how quickly you need to consume your fresh produce for maximum benefits and health.
- You will become aware of how to clean your vegetable and fruit and how to store it to last. You will discover which items should not be stored close to some other items so that they both remain fresh for a longer time. (some fruits and vegetables emit a gas that actually ripens the other things around it, making it quickly rot). And I share whether it should be stored on the counter, on a shelf in the fridge, in the crisper drawer, in a paper bag, away from other things or all together, or in a baggie with holes so it can continue to breathe?
- I will share which veggies need to be cut and sit so that they have maximum nutrients.
- I share which plants have little buggies hiding in them, and how to ensure you are not eating worms and bacteria before you cook the food.
- You will identify how to get additional meals from your organic purchase. And no its not boring, you will make different things, not keep eating the same meal over and over again.
- You will learn how to eliminate food waste and packaging waste. 40% of the food purchased in the US is wasted. No more. You will find adventurous things to do with your food scraps that are yummy and easy to execute.
- You will learn how to get the biggest bang for your organic buck.
Many of the tips I share can NOT be done with conventional vegetables and fruits because all of the heavy toxins are on the outside of the produce and can’t be washed off.
You will learn to think differently about your food and it will slowly change you habits in a great way.
Just implementing my tips one at a time will make a difference in your health and the earths ‘ health.
You will contribute to cutting down on climate change by responsible shopping and eating.
I have learned so much myself researching for this class, I can’t wait to share it.
The graphic is if you buy one out of 10 items organic. My goodness, what would happen if we made most of our purchases for food organic whole foods. What a huge impact we would have on our Earth.
Your health depends upon this knowledge. Your family’s health depends upon gaining this knowledge. Our earth depends upon our utilizing this knowledge.
Instead of thinking you can not afford organic, I want to help you discover why you can not afford to NOT eat organic.
I share all of the places to find quality food and hope to inspire you to go on an adventure to find amazingly healthy yummy food at the best possible price and then to get the most value from that food for your body.
