Ready to Return to Wellness?

I have learned over my 15 year journey back to wellness, that there are some “truths” to what happened to me, that I have only recently begun to concentrate on in my coaching.
When you are tired of feeling lousy and ready to return to Feeling Great Again, these are the self-evident truths.
  • You have to believe that if you own it, you will find solutions to return to wellness. You have to believe that you will get well, and you have to block out the naysayers. Naysayers come in all sizes and varieties. They could be your family, your friends, your medical professionals, your co-workers, your significant other…..and they will be everywhere. You have to stay in your own truth that you can solve this and keep moving forward, and commit to the new version of you that you are creating each step of the way.
  • You have to leave no rock untouched, or unturned, and continue to search for your own puzzle pieces, and as you find them, you have to implement. They may or may not all work but you never give up on the possibility. And if one of your approaches does not work, you have to take that failure as one of your steps to success.
  • You have to give yourself grace and emotional support as you go through the process.
  • You must DECIDE TO ACT or nothing will change.
Determination to have, becomes determination to act.
The ACTION that you take gets you out of your comfort zone.
And the certainty is because NO ONE IS GOING TO TALK YOU OUT OF THIS.
Take Action
Unshakable
This is your unshakable truth
THIS IS WHAT ACTIVATES THE INVISIBLE TO BECOME VISIBLE.
YOU KNOW YOU HAVE NO OTHER CHOICE BUT TO MAKE IT TRUE.
  • Being well has to become your central purpose. This includes all aspects of your life. Your food, your lifestyle, your self-love, how you love others and the world. And you have to know, when you begin to share your journey and solutions with others, you have begun to find your purpose.
  • And you move forward with a relaxed certainty that wellness is in the process of happening. That wellness is within your reach.
  • In your journey, you have to learn to stop limiting yourself. Conventional approaches, holistic approaches, functional approaches, naturopathic approaches, everything is on the table, and you approach each new puzzle piece with the belief that it WILL work until proven wrong.
  • Learning to live in your heart brain, returning to your spiritual beginnings and reconnecting to it once again, is all part of your journey back to love for self, love for others, love for the earth, and reconnecting with the universe. It is in this space that you begin to manifest wellness.
Most likely if you have developed chronic illness you have lost touch with some of the things above and have to get back in touch with each of them one at a time. Don’t allow your illness to prevent you from exploring all of the aspects of love above. Returning to balance and returning to wellness are all part of the journey to return to self and remembering.

“What helps people to heal?
In 60 cases of unexpected recovery from severe or incurable conditions, five consistent themes emerged:
• Belief in the possibility of healing
• Emotional processing and release
• Reconnection to purpose
• Use of integrative therapies
• Spiritual transformation
Takeaway:
Healing involves all the layers of the self. And importantly, these are foundations to build before illness develops. Of course, this doesn’t replace conventional care, but could add to it and help a person to expand the thought process of what’s possible.

Cheryl’s concluding comments on how to be all in with wellness….
“Nothing about my life is the same as before I got so deathly sick. (3 autoimmune diseases, Type II Diabetes, A Fatty Liver) Its all better.    And its a journey, I am still seeking puzzle pieces and improving my wellness, and I have no doubt that I can find and implement the solutions I am seeking.
Are you hearing the calling to return to  yourself and return to wellness.  The road is not necessarily easy, but it certainly is worth it.  Embrace it.”
